NDE, Inc. performs a wide range of testing which falls under the category of metallurgical analysis. These procedures include microstructure evaluation, grain size determination, micro inclusion rating, grain flow determination, heat treat evaluation (including case evaluation using microhardness testing), forging and casting defect evaluation and plating thickness measurement. These procedures are performed both for standard quality control checks and as part of a failure analysis. A complete metallurgical laboratory is maintained providing the capability of cutting and preparing samples for evaluation and for performing the actual evaluation.
