Hardness testing capabilities include Standard Rockwell, Superficial Rockwell, Brinell and Microhardness testing.  Standard and Superficial Rockwell can be performed using all of the normal scales including A, B, C, E, 15T, 30T, 45T, 15N, 30N and 45N.  Brinell hardness testing can be performed at both typical load values of 500 kg and 3000 kg, and microhardness testing can be performed using both Vickers and Knoop indentors at load ranges from 1 to 1000 grams.  Depicted here is a state of the art Standard/Superficial Rockwell hardness tester capable of meeting the stringent new proposed requirements of specification ASTM E18.
